We are happy to announce that we are seeking a Professional Pathways Senior Program Manager in our Children’s Services Department to lead a new, exciting venture. This position is full-time and requires travel throughout service area.
Essential Duties:
- Establish, implement, and manage the Workforce Opportunity for Rural Communities Apprenticeship Program.
- Partner closely with community stakeholders and partners through meetings and collaboration
- Support apprentices in navigating their training, education, work experience, and community connections
- Oversee project evaluation, including data reporting, debrief meetings, gathering feedback, and recommending changes to the program, processes, and structure.
- Responsible for data collection, data analysis, and reporting.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and program management as a liaison, coordinator, facilitator, trainer, and primary contact to continually assess needs and opportunities for the program’s success.
- Utilize independent systems of thinking, while incorporating collaboration between many programs and agencies, as well as being an effective communicator and leader to the apprentices.

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, planning, human resources, or closely related field required.
- 3-4 years experience managing workforce development initiatives and engaging employers and partners in workforce development opportunities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Other Requirements: Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others; ability to function autonomously and successfully with others such as stakeholders; Pre-employment physical, SBI, DMV, Maine and National Sex Offender Registry, DHHS, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment; valid driver’s license and travel within the service area is required.
